Terms of Service

Unplanned is an app that gives you one real-life quest a day — a small, intentional thing to do out in the world instead of on autopilot. By creating an account or using the app, you're agreeing to these terms. If you don't agree with them, don't use the app.

Unplanned is for people aged 13 and up. If you're under 13, you can't use it. If you're under the age of majority where you live, get a parent or guardian to okay it first.

Quests happen in the real world — outside, with other people, sometimes somewhere new. You're responsible for your own safety. Use your judgement. Obey the law. Don't trespass, don't put yourself or anyone else at risk, and skip any quest that doesn't feel safe or right for you.

Unplanned is not liable for injury, loss or damage that happens while you're doing a quest.

Quests are suggestions, not instructions. We don't promise any particular outcome — no personal transformation, no new friends, no life-changing epiphany. The app is provided as-is. Sometimes it'll break, and we'll fix it as fast as we can.

Don't use Unplanned to:

• Harass, threaten or harm other people.
• Upload anything illegal, hateful or explicit.
• Break the app, scrape it, or resell access to it.
• Pretend to be someone you're not.

We can suspend or remove accounts that violate these terms — usually with a warning, but immediately if the situation calls for it.

The quest content, writing, design, logo and everything else that makes up Unplanned belongs to us. Don't copy it, republish it or build a competing product out of it.

What you create inside the app — your voice notes, photos and reflections — belongs to you. We only get the limited permission needed to store and show it back to you inside the app.

We may update these terms as the app grows. If something important changes, we'll update this page and tell you in the app. Keeping on using Unplanned after that means you're good with the new version.

You can delete your account at any time from your profile settings. We can also close accounts that break these terms or if we ever have to shut the service down.
